Shelly M. Reed – PsyD, S-PSB

Shelly Reed

Whether you are well versed with therapy and are ready to dive in again or you are cautiously considering therapy for the first time, I am committed to helping you identify and remove the obstacles of trauma, depression, anxiety, addiction, bipolar disorder, sleep disorders, difficult transitions, relationship issues, insecurity, problematic sexual behaviors, self-injurious behavior or acculturation stressors out of your way so you can get back to your life or maybe even feel alive for the first time.

I am a licensed psychologist and have been treating clients in residential, academic, hospital, community, medical and private practice settings for the last ten years.  I treat individuals and couples in English or Spanish through the framework of CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy), DBT (Dialectical Behavioral Therapy), behavioral medicine (hypnosis, pain management, biofeedback), motivational interviewing, and spiritually oriented psychotherapy.  My desire is to establish a safe and supportive therapeutic environment to address the core and underlying issues associated with your current struggles.  My goal is for you to be heard and understood, challenged and encouraged as you gain insight and practical tools to break problematic cycles and navigate your way to a satisfying and full life.

I look forward to meeting you!
